THE WEIR FAMILY
Remote Family Session
It was early morning when Sara awoke her four children to come to meet “me.” “Me,” the voice on the other end of the phone. It began with sleepy eyes and sluggish shoulders. It began with a cuddled pig named Ronald (after the Weasleys, of course).
The morning sun was what we were after. It danced brightly onto their scrunched-up faces and awoke their childlike smiles.
My physical form wasn’t there, of course. Still, I directed them playfully as they unfolded themselves around the lens, capturing them just as they were. All the sweet cuddles, the silliness, the ham moments, and the perfectly beautiful ones that I can’t claim credit for because it was just so them. Sara and her loves.
Sara asked me to capture these intimate moments while Edna cooed sweetly in her belly, their little caboose. This shoot was an ode to her and an ode to Sara. Moments captured that she won’t ever get back but held forever in the photographs.
Take a look and fall in love with this family like I did.
