The Lines Family in Arizona
Remote Family Session
I have only now tried on the label as “family photographer.” For so long, I pushed this genre away because it didn’t fit into the ideas of what my career was supposed to look like. Recently, I began to question the validity of those thoughts. My heart was yearning for something more personal, something with more depth. There is something about photographing multiple subjects that causes a small ache in my heart, and I now follow those aches. They’ve always taken me somewhere. One of my favorite films is Alfonso Cuarón’s “Roma.” The wide-angled shots showcase an entire life in a scene, and it ignites my curiosity. It invites me to stay a little longer. That is how I feel about this virtual session with the Lines Family in Arizona. So much life in each photograph. The joy, the whimsicality, the love. I’m honored to share them with you.
