After you've booked, I’ll email you my welcome guide to help walk you through choosing your outfits and how to prepare for our time together. I’ll also confirm our meeting spot and any other relevant details. Our session will be quick and easy, all you have to do is come relaxed and ready to hang out with your favorite people.

After your session is done, I’ll begin my post-editing process. Your photographs will be completed within 2 weeks of your session date. I'll upload them to an online viewing gallery where you will see all the images available to you. You will also be able to order albums and prints within the gallery. Simple Sessions FAQs

  • Simple Sessions are available on select dates.

When you select your time slot, you're booking a 1-hour window to help us determine your approximate session time. This doesn't lock you into that exact hour; it's just a starting point. After booking, I'll personally reach out to you to finalize the exact time that works best for us both. This flexible approach ensures we find the perfect moment for your session,

  • You will be able to choose 10 high-resolution photographs from your gallery. If you would like to purchase more, you can do so after you see your photos.

  • Simple Sessions are perfect for those seeking quick, easy portrait sessions in a beautiful outdoor setting—ideal for updated portraits or nailing that yearly family shot.

For a more artful, tailored experience, consider booking a Full Session.

Full Session FAQs

  • Full sessions offer the best value, hands down. With more time, you'll have the space to get comfortable with me and the camera, allowing us to create beautiful, authentic images. We can explore different ideas, be playful, and let you all naturally be yourselves—the kind of magic that unfolds when we aren't rushed.

In addition to spending more time together, your session will be uniquely tailored to you. During our pre-consultation, we’ll discuss creative concepts and design moments that feel both authentic and comfortable, giving you a session that truly reflects who you are.

  • I will be offering select dates in October and November. As a full-session client, your time slot will be prioritized over all other sessions.

Right after you book, I will contact you to help you choose a location and time based on your schedule + “the good light”.

  • I generally recommend locations that have meaning to you. It works well to have an at-home portion of the shoot plus a natural space within a 20-minute drive of your house. I am happy to provide locations for you upon booking.

More FAQs

  • Excellent question. These sessions are also available to couples, individuals, best friends, and whoever you like. The only asterisk is the shoot must include only immediate family members (limited to three adults) or a group of less than four people (adults). Each additional person will incur a $50 fee for additional editing time.

  • Due to the limited number of these sessions, all retainers are non-refundable. You may use your deposit on a full or remote session up to a year from your intial booking date.

  • They are worthy of curiosity. Aren’t they? I have photographed over 300 people this way. You can read all about them here. These sessions will be available throughout the year and are perfect for the holidays or travel.

Kind Words

“Holy shit, Kelli!!!

These are amazing. I've already watched the slideshow twice and am probably going to watch it so many times it's sort of embarrassing.

I am so grateful for these.”

Rachel Larsen Weaver

"Working with Kelli was such a joy. Her laid-back approach made the early morning shoot effortless, and I was blown away by the beautiful images she captured. I knew I’d love the photos, but I was amazed at how artfully she captured our family, especially considering it was done remotely. These images reflect the love and connection I feel with my children, and I will treasure them forever. I can’t wait to work with Kelli again!"

Sara Weir

“OH MY GOODNESS!!! I love these images so so so much, Kelli. The movement and blocking and light and observational lens. Truly everything I hoped for and more. Fine art of my family and home. These are so special.

Thank you.💜💜💜💜”

About the Artist

Hi, I’m Kelli.

Whenever I go to my childhood home, my favorite thing to do is climb up the wooden stairs and open an old closet where my mother collected our numerous family photo albums. I peel back the brown seventies binders, the one tinged with yellowing inserts, and leaf through photographs of my family. I see my Mom and Dad in their first house. My late Uncle Jimmy helping them fix it. I see both sets of my grandparents sitting next to one another, laughing and looking happy at my oldest sister’s first birthday party. My mother looks beautiful. I see my three sisters with suspicious-looking haircuts giggling by a roadside fair. I see a photo of me around age 8 that I had never seen before. Alone, on a dock, in the middle of a lake with a fishing pole in my hand. It’s one of my favorites.

If my childhood house were to burn down, I would rush to gather these dusty old books into my arms. They are one of the last objects we have left of one another. They hold our stories and encapsulate our personalities and our love. That is invaluable to me.

This is why I know it is a privilege to be a photographer. These photographs are heirlooms for your future selves and the generations that will follow. My process involves listening, finding your stories, and documenting them uniquely, with no formula in mind. I aim to capture what is beautiful but also what is honest. I would be honored to do this for you.
